1. DAY 1

   Fes → Merzouga

   Travel from Fes through Ifrane, the Middle Atlas cedar-forest region and Ziz Valley to Merzouga. Take the sunset camel ride or 4x4 transfer to your camp for dinner and the night.

   Overnight: Sahara camp in the Merzouga area.

2. DAY 2

   Merzouga → Fes

   After sunrise and breakfast, return through the Ziz Valley and Middle Atlas to Fes. This is another substantial road day, with comfort stops and variable arrival timing.

   Finish in Fes. No overnight on this final day.

One night at a Sahara camp near Merzouga. This two-day route has no hotel night.

These two options share the route and transport. Heating, hot-water arrangements and other unlisted amenities should be checked before committing.

Before you travel.

Local guides: Your driver accompanies the road journey. A separate local guide is not included.

• Typical pickup is 07:00–07:30 from vehicle-accessible accommodation. If your accommodation cannot be reached by road, a nearby meeting point is arranged. Exact arrangements are communicated before departure.
• Return to Fes after the long drive from Merzouga. Timing varies; the accessible drop-off arrangement is confirmed before travel.
• Pack a carry-on-sized bag and a small day bag. Declare additional luggage so vehicle space can be checked.
• Vegetarian and vegan meals can be arranged. Share dietary needs and allergies in advance; ask about serious allergy or cross-contamination concerns.
• Shared room/tent arrangements depend on capacity. Solo travelers may receive a private room or tent when available; otherwise sharing is with a traveler of the same gender.
• The route involves long driving and uneven terrain. Discuss mobility requirements before committing.
• Prices are in euros per person. The same per-person rate applies to children; there is no child discount.
