Marrakech to Merzouga: understand the route

Merzouga is part of a road journey. Choose the route by its overnight stops and finishing city.

An overnight stop before the dunes

The three Marrakech routes share a two-stage journey east: Marrakech to the Rose Valley or Tinghir corridor, then onward through Todra to Merzouga. The Marrakech to Fes route uses the Rose Valley for its first night.

The Atlas and Aït Ben Haddou

The route crosses the High Atlas and passes Aït Ben Haddou. UNESCO lists its ksar as a World Heritage property. Check your tour’s inclusion list for guiding and entrance charges at individual stops.

Choose where you finish

The third day returns to Marrakech or continues to Fes or Agadir. Those are different routes, with different onward plans. Check the product endpoint rather than assuming every Marrakech departure comes back.

Confirm the practical details

Check the daily itinerary for your hotel region and final destination. We confirm accommodation and pickup arrangements with your booking. Tell us if you prefer the included 4x4 camp transfer to the camel ride.
